We walk along a country road and
Think about the memories
Building up inside us with the
Days and weeks and summer.

Feigning an awareness of the

And the leaves turn.
And the nights are cool.
And the leaves fall.
And the glossy sheets of frost
Paint a glistening, somber landscape that
